Starlight was thrilled to be invited to join the Studio Lounge of CU broadcast alongside Mike Lawson, Champion of the CU movement and Elizabeth McCluskey, Director of TruStage Ventures Discovery Fund.

We heard the story of the Discovery fund from Elizabeth and the path towards broadening venture investing to entrepreneurs of all backgrounds. Then, Starlight got to share how becoming proactive and serving members is a natural extension of the credit union focus. We spoke of the challenges members face financially in America today and then, how fact finding and applying for them can be a real problem. Starlight is changing that,  making it easy for credit union members to access these benefits and put more money back in their pockets.

Shreenath Regunathan shared the significant role played by Discovery Fund in supporting the company's objectives, while also advancing the company’s overarching mission. The core aim is to enhance the financial well-being of its members by facilitating access to essential government programs, thereby acting as a conduit to their next financial milestone.

It was truly an enlightening experience to attend #gac24 with the leaders in the financial inclusion world and learn where the next year is going to be in finance.
